‏@hyperactive_gh  We dey. You are now the host of the biggest campus show in Ghana. So how did it all start for you? #hcJKD

@uRStruly_JKD   I started as a nobody buying yam for the big shots those time at vibe FM ...but the yam turned into a success lol.

@uRStruly_JKD  yup until @antoine_mensah gave me a shot on radio for 10minutes doing entertainment news on Fridays...

@uRStruly_JKD @233LIVE is still my FAM always gonna be..I was an mc for events and yh we shutdown the first ever jean nelson hall week but just so you know the real beginning started way back in shs … as enterpee dierr I knew I will relate to media one day.

@uRStruly_JKD  hahaha interesting story...@EdemCbaseTV located me dat same day after the jean nelson show… funny enough y'all remember high hood network ryt?? Dat show was produced by @EdemCbaseTV… so I wanted to do TV so I went for auditions for high hood network back in 2009 but to tell u the truth I was bounced lol and @EdemCbaseTV said I should go back and go do my homework well... so I did and came back stronger ... @EdemCbaseTV was then shooting the pilot of @CampusBaseTV so he saw me on stage and said no I need dat guy…

@hyperactive_gh  you were meant for this. I still remember the first time i saw you on tv, in a Christmas hat on Cbase. December 2013. #hcJKD

That is all I will say for why...he is just simply an amazing fellow in all angles...I respect him a lot. @hyperactive_gh  if you had the chance to work with any media house in Ghana, where will you go? #hcJKD

The members of the first African Rap Band are  @dennymadeit, @nouniversal, @jux_Nelson & @martin_peprah.

THE RECAP

@hyperactive_gh : Why the name "TH'FRVNCHVN"?

@THFRVNCHMVN : lol. Long story but we'll tell you. It’s basically because of the kind of appeal we wanted to have. We wanted to look different but classy, & we all know France is one of the homes to the world's most prestigious designers.

We spelt it that way so that anyone could easily find us regardless of whether we are on the scene or not.

@hyperactive_gh: what kind of people are we talking about here?
@THFRVNCHMVN: TH'FRVNCHMVN is a group of young talented designers, artists, writers, composers & producers, basically.

Our Music is the way the French be dressing ... Full of Swagger and confidence … in the music world … that's what we do

@hyperactive_gh: how has the journey been for the band so far? Good or bad ?

@THFRVNCHMVN: Honestly, it has been very good. Even though we might have had a few problems whiles getting on, we were able to pull through.

@hyperactive_gh: now before we talk about the first album, 2.0. How was the feeling like at Bless The Mic?

@THFRVNCHMVN: Bless The Mic is one place we think every act should get involved with at a point in time. It was a great show.

All though we didn't exactly pull the crowd too much, they really enjoyed the live performance we gave them. It was bliss.

@hyperactive_gh: Hahaha that's some good gig. Now, 2.0. That album was everywhere. Where did the motivation for the album come from?

@THFRVNCHMVN: it's a really good platform if you need to meet people you might want to work with. for example we met @hawayalive whom we… Well thank you. We figured we work on something new after laying low individually last summer. That was when we were individual artists under an indie label called A.G.E. which had to rebrand & therefore we couldn’t continue as independent artists so the album was sort of to solidify the band & its members after our incubation.

That could've been the only source of inspiration available which we were aware of. lol

@hyperactive_gh: how was the response from the general public? Encouraging enough?

 @THFRVNCHMVN: Yeah it really was. I could recall @muthombodapoet hollering & saluting us after our performance. We were really honoured.

@hyperactive_gh: Talking about poetry. You people do that too right? And you sometimes have some of your songs mixed with poetry recitals?

@THFRVNCHMVN: Yes we do. We believe poetry is the basis of all genres in modern day music.

@hyperactive_gh: how many poets?

@THFRVNCHMVN: well technically, since we're all writers of the art, we're all poets but there's only 1 Spoken Word artist i.e. @jux_Nelson

@hyperactive_gh: how do you see poetry in Ghana now? Growing or not?

@THFRVNCHMVN: It's really growing. It's actually very amazing. with events like Poetry Nites W/ @RainmakersGhana, @EHALAKASA, Verbal Ink & many others. Also some which we believe are yet to be discovered. It's really being welcomed & it’s awesome.

We would actually like to take this opportunity to honour all spoken word acts out there doing great. 

@hyperactive_gh: if you had the chance to ask any artiste for collaboration. Who will it be and why?

@THFRVNCHMVN: honestly, it would be @KanyeWest, because he has inspired almost everyone's favorite artiste before at a point in time.
We think he's the most original & most creative composer ever aside @eltonjohndotcom

@hyperactive_gh: we promise to have a session with the poets.

@THFRVNCHMVN: That would be wonderful guys. You really should do that. Great idea.

@hyperactive_gh: who causes the troubles in TH'FRVNCHMVN?

@THFRVNCHMVN: lol. haha. funny. but that would be @dennymadeit & @nouniversal. Because of these guys it took us an extra 3 months to finalize the artwork & the tracklist for the 2.0 Album, but it's a good thing cos if we all just keep agreeing to immediate ideas we might never get the chance to think as wide.

@hyperactive_gh: Hahaha and the quiet one?

@THFRVNCHMVN: okay that would be @martin_peprah. but that's just he being himself. When we're on set, it's another thing all together. lol

@hyperactive_gh: Hahaha. Where do you see TH'FRVNCHMVN in the next 5 years?

@THFRVNCHMVN:  well we know God's time is best, it speaks for itself & all, but honestly, probably on our 1st world tour somewhere in EU

 @hyperactive_gh : are we to expect some new songs from the band or another concert?

@THFRVNCHMVN: Yes, both. Most probably, we're not giving out any information yet though. lol. All we can say is you won't be disappointed.
