hyperActive(H.A): What is KSFL?
KSFL: KSFL which means "Kool Sounds For Life" is a music group handled by teenagers for the purpose of the creation and promotion of good music for our generation.
We also aim to satisfy the musical needs of the generations ahead of us and behind us. However, our primary target is our own generation.
H.A: Interesting name. When did these innovative teenagers bring up this idea?
KSFL: Well it started with a group of AIS students who had a desire to make good music covering all genres.
The name was a combination of the first letters of some of our names. We were later joined by 4 Motowners and a Persecans. We later added a few 'soldiers' into our ranks to help fortify our quest for musical excellence. We are currently 15 in number. Early 2013.
H.A: Very young. Any challenges as you were coming up as a group?
KSFL: Quite a number actually. Mainly the places we live makes it difficult for us to meet and record as a group.
In this effect most of our songs are all-AIS or all-Motown. Never a blend of the two. Also with the upcoming WASSCE examinations private classes are currently occupying most of our time.
Yes though there are a few more these are our primary issues.
H.A: KSFL boys are serious students. Talking about serious students. How do you guys blend studies with music. Because you will have to write bars whiles your books are there and all that.
KSFL: That is a difficult blend but we are helping each other work at it.
Usually in school some of us keep blank sheets of paper on us cos you never know when you'll get inspired.
It's easier at home because we always have our phones, tablets, iPods and things like that on us so we are ready when we get hit with inspirationH.A: KSFL originally started from AIS?
KSFL: Yes, it originally started in AIS. Our science class to be precise
H.A: How does one join KSFL ??
KSFL: " How does one join KSFL ??". Well it depends on what you are joining as.
If you are a rapper you have to give us a freestyle and survive one battle with any of our rappers
If you are joining as a vocalist, you have to give us a very cool sample of you singing or a song you featured on.
If you want to be a producer we will interview you to see the goods and bad of you joining us
H.A: KSFL is mainly made up of those who rap or sing? As in other groups there are people who are just part. Aren't there any normal members ?
KSFL: At this time no. Actually we are currently working on a manegerial team.
When we finish that we will consider inviting normal members. It's all in due time.
H.A: Any future plans?
KSFL: Well we hope to establish ourselves as a phenomenon music empire. If God is good to us then we may consider starting our own studio and maybe a radio station.We still hoping and trusting in God and listening for his direction.We also hope to raise other rappers and use our name as a platform on which they will be discovered. That is when we make it big.
H.A: Any collaborations soo far?
KFSL: So far we are inter-collaborating. That is making music with our own members. However we are looking to collaborate with other rappers but most likely after WASSCE. Currently we are thinking of working on an album after Wassce and we were hoping to feature MFTS and KillVille in a couple of them and BLE hopefully.
H.A: What are your views on these groups. AGE music who are now out with their album #LoudSilene# , Tinash Records,Auditory Motion and others. Do you see them as competition ?
KSFL: Well currently we don't see anybody as competition because every group has their own style of doing things. The AGE album is a very good one. A good standard and I believe other groups should endeavour to make music Like that. I think there really isn't any competition. They are all really good serious groups and in the end we are all gonna end up changing the Gh music industry.
H.A: Can you tell us some of your tracks?
KSFL: Well..we have Teardrops which was our first track. Then Never Let Go which is particularly for the females.And then No Competition our latest track.
H.A: What do you think about shs beefs ?
KSFL: Shs beefs are usually caused my misunderstood statements and situations.
I think mostly jealous untalented people cause the beefs. They are really not needed.
But honestly what happens is not really beef though.
Besides as African Guys I really don't think it's necessary for us to be starting all this beef. We should all just make up for the better good of generational music
H.A: But then if you guys were given the chance to name fave SHS artist who will they be?
KSFL: Well we think Wriddle, ATO , Koul Ef , Tyga 65, Denny, AJ Jnr (His latest control freestyle was cool), Uncle Scrilla and Kevin Ye. Real African Guys
H.A: Is KSFL just them shs things or?
KSFL: If God permits we're gonna take it all the way. We hope to keep going though
H.A: What are the people out there to expect from you?
KSFL: Good music, all genres, all the time.We always on it.

H.A: Any last words for KSFL fans and how did you people feel when your name was mentioned as one of the good cliques in A.T.O's in control ?
KSFL: When ATO mentioned us, well we were honored to be mentioned at all but as a good clique was cool. We just want them to keep watch cos we got some stuff cooking for after WASSCE
